Game logic for a simple computer game design
Students will design, create and publish an original computer game using Stencyl, which is used by industry professionals. The coding element of this course uses Scratch, a revolutionary programming language developed at MIT, that uses intelligent sentence structures to assist students to learn.
There is no requirement to have studied Computer Games Development prior to starting on the course.
The course embeds Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT through;

The qualification requires students to complete units. These are;

Unit 01 Computer game design

Unit 02 Computer game art production

Unit 03 Computer game production

Unit 04 Computer game digital sound production

Unit 05 Computer game testing
Progress is evidenced in an online portfolio, which includes text, pictures, video, and audio. Students will be required to participate in at least 3 performances
