If you're about to start our course in Computer Games Development, you can get a head start by having a look at some of the free resources available below.

Download Stencyl

Stencyl is one of the software packages we use to design games. Over the course, you will create a new platform game, similar Mario or Sonic. You can download this at home for free on Windows or Mac.

Stencyl uses the programming language Scratc, which was developed by the university MIT to teach young people how to code using coloured blocks and real sentences.

Logic Pro

It is only available for Mac, and is not free. You can use it in our creative suite, and render your finished pieces as mp3s that you can play at home.

Download GIMP
