I graduated from the University of Salford in 2013 with a honours degree in Popular Music & Recording, having previous obtained a BTEC National Music Performance from the Manchester College. I play a variety of instruments, including guitar, drum kit, Brazilian percussion, piano and ukulele.
I have been an active part of music in the community since 2007, including helping to coordinate the Feel Good Festival in Manchester in 2013, leading samba drumming workshops for both primary and secondary schools across the UK, alongside working with young people with autism.
As well as this, I teach privately outside of work and have played in both funk and glam rock bands as a drummer. I have also been a regular guest on BBC local radio stations discussing music for autism and how music helps improve our overall health and well-being.
In my spare time I like to play and listen to music, photography, swimming and watching sports.
